Lord Vishnu is depicted as taking rest in Ksheersagar, on the great snake Sheshnag. Goddess Lakshmi is with Him on one side. Wearing a great ornamented crown, He has the Shree Vats on His chest, Kaustubh Mani and Vanmala (two extremely precious gems) around His neck, has a conch shell in His right hand, three valays in the second hand, gada in another hand and a chakra in the fourth. Nand, Sunand, Sanak Sanatan, etc., several rishis, Brahma, Shiva and many Devas are praying to him. Goddess Lakshmi, Pushti, Saraswati, Kanti, Kirti, Tushti, Urja Samvit and Maya etc. are at His service. One of His legs is on the lap of Lakshmi and other on the seat of Sheshnag. One of his four hands extends up to the knee and other up to the naval. His one hand supports the head from below and the fourth has Santanmanjari. From his navel, a lotus stem is coming out over which Lord Brahma is seated. Madhu and Kaitabha, the demons, live near the lotus stem.
